# AI Copilot

> Get AI-powered suggestions for job descriptions, parts recommendations, and scheduling optimisation.

Vynta's AI Copilot helps you work faster by suggesting content based on your data. It learns from your job history, parts usage, and scheduling patterns to provide relevant recommendations.

## What the AI Copilot Does

| **Job descriptions**   | Generates professional job descriptions from brief notes            |
| **Parts suggestions**  | Recommends parts based on the job type and history                  |
| **Scheduling hints**   | Suggests optimal technician assignment based on skills and location |
| **Invoice line items** | Auto-fills billing line items from job completion data              |

## Using the AI Copilot

When you're on a work order, click the **AI icon** (sparkle icon) next to any text field. The copilot will:

1. Analyse the current context (job type, customer history, parts used)
2. Generate a suggestion
3. You review and accept, edit, or dismiss the suggestion

## Job Description Generation

Instead of writing a full description from scratch:

1. Enter a brief note (e.g., "AC not cooling, customer says it was serviced 6 months ago")
2. Click the AI icon
3. Vynta generates a professional job description including likely causes and recommended checks
4. Edit as needed and save

## Parts Recommendations

When adding parts to a work order, the AI suggests:

* Parts commonly used for this job type
* Parts the same customer has needed before
* Parts that other technicians used on similar jobs

  The AI copilot learns from your data. The more jobs you complete in Vynta, the better its suggestions become.

## Privacy and Data

* The AI only accesses data within your Vynta account
* No job data is shared with other Vynta customers
* You can disable AI features entirely in **Settings** > **AI**
