# Plan, Schedule, and Move Jobs on the Schedule Board

> Use the Schedule Board to view every job on your team's calendar, switch Day/Week/Month views, and drag jobs to reschedule them instantly.

The Schedule Board is the visual heart of Vynta's dispatch operations. It shows every technician's schedule at a glance, making it easy to spot gaps, avoid conflicts, and keep the team moving.

## Views

### Day View

See every technician's jobs for a single day. Each row is a technician, each block is a job. This is your go-to for daily planning.

### Week View

See the full week ahead. Spot which days are overloaded and which have capacity. Move jobs between days by dragging.

### Month View

High-level overview of job volume. See busy periods and quiet weeks at a glance.

## Interacting with the Board

| Action               | How                                                                      |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Create a job**     | Click an empty slot on a technician's row                                |
| **View job details** | Click on a job block                                                     |
| **Reschedule a job** | Drag the job block to a new date/time                                    |
| **Reassign a job**   | Drag the job to a different technician's row                             |
| **Filter**           | Use the filter bar to show specific technicians, job types, or customers |

## Colour Coding

Job blocks are coloured by status:

* **Blue** — Scheduled
* **Orange** — In Progress
* **Green** — Completed
* **Red** — Urgent or Emergency
* **Grey** — Cancelled

## Capacity Planning

The week view shows technician capacity:

* **Full rows** mean the technician is fully booked
* **Partial rows** show available slots
* **Empty rows** indicate time off or no assignments

Use this to balance workloads and identify who can take on more jobs.

## What Technicians See

Technicians see their own schedule on the mobile app, sorted by date. They cannot see other technicians' schedules unless they have Dispatcher or Admin access.
