Checklists ensure every job is done right, every time. Create reusable checklists for different job types, assign them to work orders, and track completion in real time.

Creating Checklists

1

Go to Health & Safety > Checklists

Click Add Checklist and give it a name (e.g., “HVAC Installation”, “Electrical Safety Check”).
2

Add checklist items

Each item is a step the technician must complete. Add a description, set whether it’s mandatory or optional, and optionally attach a reference document.
3

Link to job categories

Associate the checklist with specific work order categories. When a job of that category is created, the checklist is attached automatically.

Using Checklists on Jobs

When a technician opens a work order with a linked checklist:
  1. The checklist appears in the Job tab
  2. They work through each item, checking off as they go
  3. Mandatory items must be completed before the job can be marked as done
  4. Optional items can be skipped with a note explaining why

Tracking Completion

The dashboard shows checklist completion rates:
  • Per job — percentage of items completed
  • Per technician — average completion rate across all jobs
  • Per checklist type — which job types have the highest/lowest completion rates

FAQ

Yes. Technicians can add ad-hoc items to a checklist during a job. These are flagged as “technician-added” in the report.
The technician must add a note explaining why. The item is marked as “skipped with reason” and flagged for admin review.
