Settings control how Vynta works for your business. Most settings are configured once during onboarding, but you can adjust them anytime.

Settings Sections

Business Profile

  • Business name — displayed in the app, customer portal, and emails
  • Logo — uploaded to the app header and customer-facing documents
  • Contact details — phone, email, address
  • Service area — the geographic region you operate in
  • Timezone — affects scheduling, reports, and timestamps

Notifications

Control which notifications go to whom:

Billing

  • Payment gateway — configure PayFast for customer payments
  • Invoice settings — set invoice numbering, tax rates, payment terms
  • Subscription — manage your Vynta plan and billing

Customer Portal

  • Portal branding — customise colours and logo for the customer-facing portal
  • Portal access — control which customers can access the portal
  • Email templates — customise invitation and notification emails

Time & Attendance

  • Standard work hours — define the default shift start and end times
  • Auto clock-out — set the grace period for automatic clock-out
  • GPS tracking — enable or disable location tracking for clock in/out

AI Features

  • Voice dictation — enable or disable voice-to-text transcription
  • AI copilot — enable or disable AI-powered suggestions

Referrals

  • Referral programme — configure your referral rewards and tracking
  • Referral links — generate and share referral links

Accessing Settings

Click Settings in the sidebar. Some settings are only available to Owners and Admins — if you can’t see a setting, check your role permissions.

FAQ

Owners can change all settings. Admins can change most settings except billing and subscription. Technicians and Dispatchers cannot access settings.
Most changes take effect immediately. Some changes (like timezone) may require a page refresh.
